CIB Signs EGP 963 Million Agreement with OSL to Revamp Giza Pyramids Sound and Light Show
Commercial International Bank (CIB) has signed an EGP 963 million financing deal with Orascom’s OSL to redevelop the Giza Pyramids Sound and Light Show. The project will upgrade infrastructure, audiovisual systems, and visitor facilities, transforming the area into a world-class cultural and entertainment hub.

A Strategic Partnership to Revitalize Egypt’s Cultural Landmarks
The Commercial International Bank (CIB), Egypt’s leading private-sector bank, has signed a mid-term financing agreement worth EGP 963 million with OSL for Entertainment Projects, a subsidiary of Orascom Investment Holding (OIH). The partnership will fund the redevelopment of the iconic Sound and Light Show and surrounding exhibition areas at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.
Enhancing Infrastructure and Visitor Experience
The investment aims to upgrade the site’s audiovisual systems, lighting technologies, and general infrastructure using cutting-edge technology. The new show is designed to deliver an immersive and engaging experience, narrating the rich history of the pyramids in a modern and compelling way.
The plan also includes:

Expanded parking areas for both buses and private vehicles

Enhanced accessibility with dedicated facilities for people with disabilities

Installation of digital information panels and directional signage to guide tourists
