In celebration of Alexandria’s National Day, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy, has announced that all archaeological sites and key museums in Alexandria will open free of charge to the public on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Featured Museums and Historical Sites
The initiative includes the Graeco-Roman Museum, the Royal Jewelry Museum, and the Alexandria National Museum, along with several other historic landmarks throughout the city. This open-access day offers both residents and visitors a unique opportunity to experience Alexandria’s rich cultural legacy at no cost.
